Base Gap
About the Photo Sequence
After the first row of bricks were placed on the foundation, I knew I would eventually have to fill in the gap between the bricks and the black top. That day came May 5, 2014. With the help of a small piece of sheet metal, I was able to place the concrete into the gap without smearing it on the bricks or the blacktop. I sloped it to ensure no puddles when it gets wet.

Photo Details
This photo sequence contains 10 frames. Each frame is a finite 1024 pixels wide but height was left to its own based on the crop. I based the picture size on an email program's display window asuming that the picture would not be automatically resized to fit. This technique kept the file size down, the largest being just less than 400k making it easy to send and receive through email. All photos were taken with a Nikon D80.
